Halfway Happy

I hope this article finds you safe and healthy. I know I am not really punctual with my blog articles. So, here is the new article about my thesis work.

For the whole of February, I kept working on my new concept note- developed a new idea, wrote a really cool background, and was working on methodology. I read so many papers thoroughly. I had not read these many papers in my entire master's course. So yes I grew up as a researcher. I developed a vision of how my work will look like. This whole process took a month and I was not in contact with my supervisor. I got a warning from my supervisor. I had to contact my NTCC coordinator to get things going. 

I met my supervisor and he didn't like my idea. So, we had to revamp the concept note. I was not really happy with the process because I thought I had a vision of the work and previously such kind of work has been published from other parts of the world so why is work not appearing nice to my guide? I was frustrated.

So, what to do next? I kept talking to my guide and we eventually developed a new concept note which was convincing to him and me. It had ideas which both of us liked. So, I am kind of halfway happy because at least something is better than nothing.

Now, my plan is to work as per the new concept note and save my original concept note for later. I am planning to work on that idea after my master's and publish it independently. I don't even know if it is possible to publish independently because I won't be affiliated with any kind of organization after my master's. Let's see...
